Only pretty good? I was judging it a little higher, but that's just me.

There we go. I was starting to wonder if you screwed the f-bomb out of yourself.

Nah -- if there's one thing you can count on, it's that even if I screwed all the other words outta myself, I'd probably still have that one.

Good. [She playfully sticks her elbow into his stomach.] Now get off of me. I need to go to the bathroom.

Okay, okay.

[With much effort, he rolls off of her, only to flop back down onto the bed.]

[She hopes he stays right where he is while she's in the bathroom because when she comes back, she drapes herself all over him, work clothes forgotten.]

And what was that all about?

What d'you mean what was that all about? Just seemed like a good idea, that's all.

[He's still right there, yep. He's not intending to move.]

It was a fantastic idea, don't get me wrong. I'm just curious why and what made you try that.

I dunno. I didn't really think about it. I just kinda did it.

[She chuckles through a yawn, pulling her legs up to slide between his.]

I like the way you think. Or don't think, for that matter.

Hopefully that means you'd like a repeat performance someday, yeah?

Yes, but one--why someday? Why not tomorrow? And two--let's see what else you can not think of.

That sounds like a challenge.

[He gives a sleepy grin.]

I hope you know I never back down from a challenge.

I will. 'n right now, I'm gonna go to sleep, so I can get a head start on not thinkin' about tomorrow.

Lucky you, you get to sleep. [She pushes on his chest with her hand, using the leverage to reluctantly get to her feet.] I was interrupted getting ready for work tomorrow.

[trenchknives]

You could skip work. Y'know, just stay home 'n...

[If eyebrows could talk, his would be saying something pretty suggestive right about now.]

Don't even start. Not happening.

[Or the truth is, it's more than likely to happen if he keeps it up. She's so weak.]

Go to sleep.

Okay, okay, sleepin'. Just gonna dream about all the things we could do if you did take the day off...

[And with that, he's rolling over, and pretending to be asleep.]

[She stares at his back, shaking her head.]

Asshole.

[There's no response as he quietly -- and completely falsely -- snores quietly.]

[She rolls her eyes before leaning over to slap his ass, not enough to hurt, but enough to give him a nice playful sting, before fussing with her clothes so she can sleep too. Only not faking it.]
